The three common conversions

System to combi: the cylinder goes, the feed and expansion arrangement goes, and a single combi takes over both heating and hot water. Suits one bathroom homes and many two bathroom homes with a strong main.

A combi can only deliver the hot water your incoming main can supply. We measure static pressure and flow rate at the kitchen tap on the survey, because that single figure decides whether a conversion will feel like an upgrade or a downgrade.
Where flow is marginal we will tell you, and we will offer the alternatives: a system boiler with an unvented cylinder, or a mains booster and accumulator where the supply itself is the limit.
