Plenty of cold radiator calls end up being balancing or a stuck TRV pin, and we are not going to flush a system that does not need it.

On very old systems with corroded steel radiators or aged iron pipework, flushing can find weak points that were already close to failing. We assess the age and condition first and will recommend a gentler chemical clean, or replacement of the worst radiators, where a full flush is not the sensible option.

Always. The system is refilled with fresh corrosion inhibitor to the correct dose for the volume, and we test the level. Skipping the inhibitor is how a freshly flushed system ends up sludged again within a couple of years.
